His idea is to post a song online (www.hitsduo.com) that has either a chorus and allow fans to download the music and the half finished song and create verses for the song or post a song with verses, where fans would write the chorus for the song.  Each participant/contestant will then submit their finished song(s) to be evaluated. 

The top 10 submitted songs will then be posted online to be judged by listeners all over.  His idea is that, the song that receives the most votes will then be recorded in a professional studio, and later shopped to music publishers.  “Hopefully if the publishers like the song, that winner can get a co-publishing deal.” 

This unique concept is still in development but Mr. G, hopes to have the terms of the contest and a launch date ready by this February.  His wish is to keep music growing and allow for more fans involvement.  Keep checking HITSDUO’s official website for updates on “Let’s Write a Song.”
